My first experience with Team Associated
rc cars was back in 1992 when I was studying in New York. I bought
an RC10 Team Car and competed in the 1/10 scale off-road buggy
category. My home track then was Queens Off Roaders, a very large
indoor off-road track.
Team Associated cars are designed to win races, and have won
multiple world championships in electric and gas powered categories,
in both on and off road. Few companies can match the race winning
record of Associated.
Recently the company was bought by Thunder Tiger, which will see
the increase in rtr models from Team Associated. So you can start
with the rtr models, then simply upgrade to the full blown factory
team cars once you start racing competitively. |
