I personally love Tamiya rc cars. My
first true kit was a 1/10 Tamiya Ford Ranger XLT which was bought in
1979. Today over half of my collection are Tamiya. And currently I
still love playing and racing Tamiya cars. Last Sept 2004 I went to
Hong Kong to race in the 2004 Tamiya Asia Cup in the M-Chassis
category. Luckily I managed to finish a respectable 7th place in the
A-main.
Tamiya cars are a joy to build. The instruction manuals are the
best among all manufacturers and very easy for beginners to follow.
Tamiya also sells ready to run models. Simply charge the battery
and start playing.
If this is your first time, I highly recommend starting with a
Tamiya remote control car.
And if you're an experienced racer, the Tamiya 415 is the 2005
IFMAR 1/10 scale World Champion in the hotly contested electric
touring cars category. Tamiya is also the back to back champion in
this category. |
