Neither have I in my 32 years enjoying this hobby. But yesterday I was fortunate enough to be part of an rc race that was held inside Mall of Asia. Classes were electric (4wd, rally, monster truck, short course) and believe it… 1/8 scale nitro buggies!

This is the first time in my 32 years in the rc hobby that I’ve seen nitro rc cars (or gas powered 1/8 scale buggies) race INSIDE a mall. This event was held on 8 Nov 2009.

Thousands of people must have watched the event. A great way to promote the hobby, I was just happy to be racing in that event. So many people and mall racing makes it very fun for me.
