Yokomo is a well known rc car manufacturer from Japan. Known for producing race quality electric and drift rc cars. Not as big as Kyosho or Tamiya, team Yokomo is well known by it’s driver Masami Hirosaka (who recently retired). Masami is a 14 time world champion who drove for Team Yokomo.

I had the pleasure of meeting Masaaki Hirosaka (the father of Masami). He used to work for Yokomo and shared with me some tips on car setup.

These are full time shaft driven 4wd models with double wishbone suspension. You can choose from the Complete Radio set Ichiroku M series (complete with radio, receiver, servo, wall charger, battery and Yokomo SCR-18M speed controller) or buy the assembled kit (without electronics).
