RC Car Racing – Xmas Race 2009

To end the year was a fun gathering of racers and friends for a Christmas race. Highlight was the food and beer. Race track was full of r/c racers competing in the Stock 13.5T touring cars, mini chassis and silvercan tc. Below is a picture of my pit table. I love playing r/c cars and brought my Tamiya F103, M05, M04 and 414 touring car. Yes, I still use an old Tamiya 414 to race in the touring car class.

It was also great to see old friends from Luzon make the 3 hour trip one way to race with us in JP Raceway. Lunch of lechon and pancit were the highlight of the day. Cold beer also tasted good

I arrived in the track at 8:30am. Racing went on until 9pm. A very tiring but enjoyable day. After 30 years of playing r/c, I still love it.

2009 IFMAR 1/8 Scale On-Road World Championships

The Kyosho Evolva M3 EVO is the 2009 1/8 scale nitro on-road world champion car. World champion driver is Lamberto Collari, undisputedly the best 1/8 nitro rc car racer of all time.
