The only thing that needs improvement in my opinion is the brakes.

Finally Novak has released a new version of their brushed/brushless ESC, the Kinetic Racing ESC. Technical highlights:

The ESC comes with either a 21.5T or 3.5T ballistic brushless motor. Technical highlights:
