Modified vs Stock Touring Lap Times

In 1/10 electric on-road touring cars, the popular class is usually modified and 13.5T brushless motors. A couple of years ago modified is much faster. However with the new technology such as faster speed controllers (LRP SXX, Tekin, Advanced Black Diamond) and 50c LIPO batteries, stock touring is almost as fast as modified.
