My first HPI rc car was an RS4 mini. It
was a 1/12 electric powered, 4wd touring car. Lighter than 1/10
scale, it had an incredible power to weight ratio, pushing the r/c
car to speeds of 40+ mph, giving even the nitro rc cars a good
battle on the racetrack.
HPI is great at producing realistic looking bodies such as the
Mustang GTR and BMW M3. HPI rc car bodies are probably the best in
the hobby next to Tamiya.
HPI has good RTR models to help beginners get started. The
company also produces high level racing machines such has the HPI
Pro4 and the nitro R40.
